Centre County PAWS was established in 1980. For over 30 years we have been committed to finding forever homes for cats and dogs, educating citizens on responsible pet ownership, providing spay/neuter assistance, and ending pet overpopulation. We are a noneuthanasia, member supported, volunteer enabled organization dedicated to the Promotion of Animal Welfare and Safety.
PAWS needs both Cat Care and Cat Adoption Helper volunteers. Cat Care training includes volunteer and cat safety and sanitation, feeding, cage cleaning, and doing dishes and laundry. Cat Adoption Helper training is for volunteers working when PAWS is open to the public, helping people find their perfect cat!
Front Desk volunteers are the face and voice of PAWS. Front Desk volunteers welcome all visitors and volunteers to PAWS, answer phones, and accept donations. If you enjoy meeting and talking with people, this may be for you! More Info and Training Dates
PAWS will be closed from December 21 to January 5. We will be open for normal business on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Thank you for your patience while our volunteers take a much needed and well deserved break.
