Happy Ending Message 1 from Jasmine We adopted Jasmine (lab/boxer mix) the day before Easter 2005. What a character she is!!! We lost our dear little Boston Terrier the month before and decided our home needed another dog. It was a big change for us to go from a 14lb boston terrier who loved to be on your lap -- to a 70lb lab/boxer who ALSO loves being on your lap! ha ha She adjusted so well to her new home. She is very gentle with our two daughters (ages 6 & 3) and made up very quickly to our two feline daughters as well. She enjoys teasing the younger cat but knows better than to fuss with the older cat who tends to be set in her ways. Jasmine loves being indoors with us -- she has special blankie on the floor where she enjoys lying and chewing on squeak toys or chasing balls. She loves to be outside on her dog-run as well - she hasn't quite mastered the "return to Mom or Dad" if she's left loose, so that doesn't happen often as you can imagine! She loves going for walks with us and just being wherever we are. I must say that we are very grateful that she was crate-trained before coming to live with us, because the very first night in our home, she thought her bed was OUR bed!! You can imagine the sight of a 70lb boxer/lab sprawled out on top of a queen bed -- doesn't leave much room for Mom & Dad! ha ha But she is one happy pup and we're glad to have her in our family!! I will try to get some photos downloaded to you also. She doesn't sit still very long at one time, so getting good "still shots" is difficult! ha ha But we love her and wanted to let you know that.

She still likes to tease her feline sisters, but they put up with Jasmine and let her have her fun!! Jasmine is still one big lap dog and loves nothing better than to curl up on her big cushiony doggy bed in our living room and watch TV with her peoples!!
