Happy Ending Message 1 from Baby

Baby Dear Paws,

Tessa (you knew her as Baby) asked us to write and let you know how she was doing. Since her August adoption she has settled into her new life and enjoys being part of the "pack" (that's what she calls the family). She loves nothing better than finding a warm lap to cuddle up in (even though she weighs more than 50 pounds) and, as one of her many friends said, "there aren't enough words to describe how sweet Tessa is." Her life with us has been relaxing and fun, not just for her but for us. How can I be stressed out when that sweet face greets me every morning and afternoon? She rarely barks, she loves walks, rawhide bones, and going for a ride. She also loves playing with her cousin Hawkeye, who was adopted from the Spartanburg, South Carolina animal shelter. (We stayed with Hawkeye over Christmas break.) While Tessa loves bones and petting, when we got her she didn't know how to play with toys or run around, which is kind of sad. But Hawkeye taught her to wrestle and to kill toys and Tessa taught Hawkeye how to sleep on the couch! Thanks for saving Tessa and bringing her into our lives.
