Annual Pet Extravaganza
The 2007 PAWS Pet Extravaganza was held on Sunday, September 16, 2007, from 11 a.m. to 4 p. m. at the Snider Ag Arena at Penn State. Please plan to attend the 2008 PAWS Pet Extravaganza; date to be announced.

Centre County PAWS (Promotion of Animal Welfare and Safety) holds its annual Pet Extravaganza each fall. Admission is free, though donations are encouraged and appreciated. Pets are welcome as long as they are on leashes or carriers and have proof of a current rabies vaccination.
Select PAWS cats and dogs will be present and adoption applications will be available. Dogs will be in the main arena. Cats will be in a separate "cat room" near the front entrance.

Rabies Vaccination Clinic - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Microchip Clinic -11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sponsored by Animal Medical Hospital. Cost $20.

Silent Auction
Bidding will be opened at 11 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Winning bids will be announced by 4 p.m. You do not need to be present to win your bid. Items include restaurant gift certificates, pet items, jewelry, spa services, art items in various mediums from prints to fabric, and much, much more!
Raffle
Tickets will be available to purchase during the event. Drawings will take place every hour during the event with the remainder of drawings taking place around 3:45 p.m. More prizes and chances to win than listed on the raffle tickets! $2 each or 3 for $5. The raffle prizes include:
- Two 2007 Penn State-Ohio State football game tickets
- Golf for four at Toftrees Golf Course
- Trollbead bracelet from Aurum Jewelers
- Panera Bread, bagels for a year
- Hair Dezigns Salon & Spa, one hour massage by Luann

Craft and Bake Sale and PAWS Merchandise -Tables featuring pimarily handcrafted items and homemade baked goods for pets and people. PAWS merchandise includes t-shirts, sweatshirts and totebags with the paws logo and notecards with photos of PAWS cats and dogs.
