PAWS educates the public about responsible pet ownership through public events, person-to-person contact, and educational materials. School visits are available.
You can also schedule a visit for your scout troop to tour PAWS and learn about our programs. If your Junior Girl Scout troop would like to earn the Pet Care Badge, please contact us! We have all the details planned out to meet the criteria and can also work with your troop to meet your needs.
PAWS now has a Reading Companions program! Parents can bring their children to PAWS where they can read to the wonderful cats and dogs at PAWS while learning about responsible pet ownership.
You can also hold your child's birthday party at PAWS! Our birthday parties are for children turning five to ten years old, and we can accommodate up to 20 guests.
Please call (814) 237-8722 or email education@centrecountypaws.org to request more information about any of our educational programs!
