Hot Cats!
The color of the points on Siamese cats is actually related to their body heat. Cool areas, such as their ears, noses, and tails, are darker. Warm areas, such as their legs and trunk, are lighter. This is why Siamese kittens are born white. The heat inside the mother's uterus gives all their body parts about the same warm temperature.

Dog Walk-A-Thon
The 2nd PAWS Dog Walk-A-Thon was held on Sunday, October 18, 2009 in downtown State College! The purpose of the Dog Walk-A-Thon is to promote responsible pet ownership and awareness as well as raise money for PAWS!
The 3rd PAWS Dog Walk-A-Thon is tentatively scheduled for September 2010. We will post details as soon as they are available.
