Abby's bio at the time of adoption: This 8-year old cocker spaniel is very affectionate and mellow! Abby loves car rides and to spend time with her person! She is good with children. At one point, she lived with a cat, & was fine with it. She would prefer to be the only dog in the family. Abby is spayed, up-to-date on shots, housetrained and cratetrained. She needs a new home! Ace's bio at the time of adoption: This toy terrier/chihuahua mix is one of the sweetest little dogs. She is very loving and affectionate! Ace is about a year old. Ace has taken seizures in the past but that is under control with medication. She also requires hip surgery, which PAWS will do before she is adopted. Airbud's bio at the time of adoption: This 1-year old fox terrier just loves people of any age! Airbud is nicknamed Buddy and weighs less than 20 lbs. Buddy loves to spend time with his person. He also loves meeting new people ... and other dogs! Buddy is a very adaptable dog! He has had limited exposure to cats, but seems to be fine with them as well. Buddy is housetrained and neutered. Alfie's bio at the time of adoption: Alfie is a yellow lab/retriever mix, and came to PAWS as a stray. He is very timid, but once he warms up to you he is quite playful. Alfie is eager to please. We think he is 2 or 3 years old. We think he may be house trained. He has been around cats and other dogs. He gets long well with them. Alfie is living in a kennel and needs a foster home. Amos's bio at the time of adoption: This sweet boy is very loving once he gets to know you. Amos is a 3-4 yr old cocker spaniel mix, and he is good with other dogs and cats. He is fine with older children once he gets to know them. Amos is timid when he first meets you, so you need to give him time to get to know you. He is housetrained and neutered. Ash's bio at the time of adoption: This adorable 6-7 month old redbone coonhound/bloodhound mix is all hound! He has a gentle nature, and is excellent with other dogs and children. Ash is very friendly and likes to play, especially ball! Ash likes to dig after rabbits and groundhogs, so he needs to be watched when in the yard. He is already neutered and is working on housetraining.

Austin's bio at the time of adoption: This 5 to 6 year old rottie is a great dog! Austin is very well behaved. He is good with children, cats and larger dogs. (He gets excited around small dogs). Baby's bio at the time of adoption: This 4-5 year old boxer/hound mix is soooo sweet! Baby is a very calm dog & a lovey couch potato! She is very responsive to directions. Baby is excellent with children and other dogs. We don't know how she is with cats. Baby had pups a few months ago, but then her original owners decided they didn't want her anymore. Bonnie's bio at the time of adoption: This female pup will be 8 weeks old on Thanksgiving Day! Bonnie's mother is a small lab mix (about 30 lbs) and the father is probably a hound, perhaps a beagle. Bonnie is calm & affectionate. Bonnie seems a bit more shy than the others in her litter, although lately she has started to play more rough & tumble with the others. Bruce's bio at the time of adoption: Bruce is one of 5 pups delivered by Dory.
Bruce was born in the wee hours of the morning
on Wednesday, February 2nd. Bruce is the leader of
the pack. He is the biggest of the dogs both in size
and personality. He also loves to cuddle but loves to
play with his littermates just as much. Bruce has a strong personality and will require structure and discipline in his new home. For these reasons, he will be placed in a home with considerable dog experience. ADOPTED 5/22/05

Bruno's bio at the time of adoption: Bruno is a 9-month Am. Bulldog. Bruno is quite sweet and good-natured. He's an easy and pleasant walking companion. He likes to be in human company and sticks close by to keep an eye on what's going on. He enjoys playing. He is very loving, although he is a little shy around people when he first meets them. He gets along with dogs in the neighborhood, but he does not seem to like cats. In the past, Bruno was sometimes a little protective around his owner, and so we recommend his new home have experience with dogs. He has had some exposure to young children. Frankie's bio at the time of adoption: Frankie is a 1 year old rottie/hound mix. He is a happy-go-lucky friendly dog! He is very sweet and has a nice personality. Frankie gets along well with other dogs, although we haven't had a chance to see how he is with cats. Frankie is housetrained. Frankie would benefit from obedience training since he is full of energy and does jump up on people. Frankie needs a foster home.

Frankie's bio at the time of adoption: This 7-month shepherd/beagle mix puppy is adorable! Frankie is good with children and other dogs. He just loves everyone! He is adaptable and listens well! Frankie is crate trained and working on housetraining. He rides well in a car. Frankie knows some basic obedience commands. Frankie has hip dysplasia. Because he is small for a shepherd mix (he will probably grow up to be about 40 lbs.), there is s very good chance that he will not have any serious problems with his hips as an adult. At 8-months, he weighs about 30-35 lbs, so he will probably grow up to be around 40-45 lbs. He lives outside and needs work on housetraining.
